HOW WE DO IT
Approved by Health Canada, botulinum is a prescription medication injected into the muscle to temporarily relax moderate to severe wrinkles. Its effects last up to four months. HOW IT WORKS
We use a tiny needle to inject botulinum toxin, temporarily relaxing the facial muscles that create wrinkles. The full effect occurs after about two weeks, with a follow-up appointment scheduled around that time for first-time treatments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Following treatment, patients should remain upright for three hours, avoiding bending over or lying down. They should refrain from high-intensity exercise for one day and avoid touching the injected area. Gentle exercise of the muscles after treatment is encouraged. You may be advised to avoid Ibuprofen, Aspirin, or certain vitamins for a few days after the procedure.
